My washing machine will fill with water, and wash, but will not drain..any good repair websites??
Ronny Dorge: If the washer isn't blocked it could be the pump. I have a fisher & paykel top loader and the pump packed it in. You could still hear the pump trying to get the water out, but it just couldn't do it. With my washer the pump is underneath the washer bowl so I had to empty the water out of the washer. All I did was stick the garden hose in the washer and siphoned the water into the garden.Below are some diy repair siteshttp://www.acmehowto.com/howto/appliance/washer/wa...http://www.repairclinic.com/0047_11.asphttp://repair2000.com/wash.htmlhttp://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-repair-a-wash......Show more

Gordon Showes: in the adventure that your gadget is ending the wash cycle. ie wash/rinse/spin then you certainly have not got any ought to rigidity. Its probably the ambient temperature being so low on the 2d that your boiler can not warmth it straight away sufficient for the gadget to take warm water. Your gadg! et has an inner heater, which heats the water to the spectacular temperature. The gadget makes use of the indoors heater regardless. this is for accuracy and of path protection. If the heater become defective the gadget would not get to the spectacular temperature. If the spectacular temperature isn't reached interior of a undeniable timescale then maximum present day machines will show an errors code. Older machines will only wash continuously using fact the thermostat won't have led to the subsequent portion of the cycle. Sorry for the long winded answer, yet my suggestion: wait till the climate warms up....Show more
Jon Bergmeier: to test it yourself and see if it is the pump or the timer, try turning the timer to the drain cycle on a different setting and see if the water drains. if it does, the timer could be gone. if it doesn't, the pump is clogged or broken. good luck, hope this helps
Esteban Faggett: call a service man maybe it's the switch
