Joaquin Dronko: how much is it for an at-home teacher or online ? I seriously doubt most people could afford to pay a teacher to come out to their house and teach. Most parents teach their own kids, or outsource classes. Some high school aged kids (like mine) attend community college.do you still graduate ? Tyrone Disanti: You really need to start with the basics of homeschooling. In many states your parents must be your teach! ers or must provide the majority of the instruction. Also an at-home teacher would cost you as much if not more than attending private school would. In some areas a good at home full time teacher would cost $75,000-$100,000 a year.
