is a credit score of 694 good credit?

Terrell Voltz: I work in the mortgage world and a 694 is a good score, anything over 650 is. 700 and up AWESOME. You must be doing something right. It is hard to get good scores and keep them.

Jackelyn Archut: Yep.

Stanton Valdivia: No, it's not "bad". There will be another reason why you were declined. Like not being 21 and possibly not having a 2 year employment history. Or possibly not having a job at all. Or the debt to credit ratio already out there too high.

Hilma Pestano: it is a good score - keep up the good work - however, you still have to have qualifing credit

Cordia Fivecoat: 694 is slightly below average. The national average is around 720. If you are wanting to get the best interest loans for a mortgage, usually a 720 or above will get you there. I would keep up what you are doing and eliminate any debt as fast as possible while paying all of your bills on time. Specifically any cc debt if you have it. Time is usually the main! factor that will increase your score.

Bud Espenshade: It depends on what type of score it is. If it is a FICO score it would be considered B+ Read this article about credit scores: http://www.expert-credit-advice.com/credit_score.h......Show more
