single women parents, Do you hate being single?

Gordon Showes: Actually, I have higher standards now as a parent than before I had kids. Of course most of us would like companionship - who doesnt? On the other hand, Im more likely to kick you to the curb if you dont meet my standards b/c I have kids, than keep on with some loser.

Roselee Mczeal: wow. no, not as much as you would imagine. sure at times when we have to work hard and miss our children's events. or when we are having a rough day, or when our child is sick and we are doing it all alone we, well, I, wish there was someone to help. but... no.. for the most part i do not hate being single and raising a child alone.
