What role should local television stations play in a community?

Kip Ockenfels: I think we have enough television channels reporting opinionated news, I think the media should be less involved in politics. We have enough democrats allowing terrorists when we plan on surrendering and reducing the Mexican border so terrorists can sneek in.

Anibal Katayama: can you honestly call it news? i travel and see local news all around the us. it is pathetic in the smaller towns and "cities." mostly all about one-car wrecks, yard-sale features and bogus news stories promoting tire stores and the junior chamber of commerce. and every one of them have absurd phoney laughs they open with and close with. ha ha ha, phooey. in a nutshell, local stations largely manufacture "news."
