Can authors publish books and remain unknown?
answers1:They can write pseudonymously. It's a lot easier if they have
an agent to handle the business arrangements.
answers2:I happen to know plenty of publishers that hid the authors
identity by putting a false name on the book. But as far as revealing
who you are later seems kinda confusing so i would pick one or the
other. And about the written statement it sounds ideal but it all

pseudonym throughout his writing career.

doorstep. She writes under a pseudonym, and her publisher does not
give out any personal information. She does not make personal
appearances or do interviews. You have the power to control how
accessible you want to be to your readers, and your publisher will
respect your wishes. That being said, budget cuts are eating into
publishing industry like everywhere else, and being willing to tour
and promote your book will be an advantage when the publisher is
considering which book to accept....Show more
