Philosophy outside intelligence?

answers1: Well, I have a dog who seems to be lacking in intelligence,
his dumb luck is amazing. He is so ugly he's cute, won't fetch a
stick, doesn't even chase off cats... But, somehow he seems to know
when one needs some quiet company, a paw in your lap as he looks you
in the eye... his philosophy seems to be working quite well for him...
:)
answers2: If by intelligence, you mean human thought, the answer is
no. Philosiphy is a person's perspective on a subject. A perspective
can only exist within human thought.
answers3: Most academic philosophy, the stuff they teach in schools,
is inside, or confined to intellect. "Intelligence" is a word with
somewhat broader meaning than "intellect." There is an abstract
intelligence that goes beyond formal intellect, but there is more
beyond that. The ultimate questions can not be adequately answered by
intellect alone.
There is trans-intellectual philosophy that is compatible with but not
limited to intelligence. It is intuitive, transcendental, and
mystical. But note that many intellectual types will tell you these
latter words have little meaning.
Everything depends, not just on what one thinks, but what one is, that
is, what you are conscious of. Consciousness is far more than
intellect and emotions.
answers4: Outside the frame for sure, but outside of intelligence, I
don't think so.
answers5: Very solutive. I'll suppress my brother's laughter.
Philosophy is a system of beliefs and rational investigation into
existence and knowledge. Beliefs are an intelligence related
characteristic. Nothing else has beliefs, at least nothing currently
known.
answers6: yap. Even if someone is stupid, he still can come out with
his own philosophy
answers7: Intellect is an essential part of philosophy, but this does
not mean that philosophy is essentially and solely intellectual. There
is great love in philosophy: the highest of passion can bring the
highest of knowledge.
answers8: I'm pretty sure there is. A lot of my philosophies come from
my feelings. I just write down whatever comes to mind.
