sorry sunshine, they got rid of graphics :( all of them were forced to
retrain as of last year.. You used to have to submit a portfolio that
was considered along with your ASVAB scores. All the other branches
still have this job if you're dead set on it. However with a BA you
could try and commission. They don't really stick you anywhere you
have experience but the pay is better and you might learn some things.
I'm a 3N0X2 aka Radio/TV broadcaster and we do tons of graphics stuff
however. Whenever I'm bored I play our new CS4 stuff, which is
awesome. Besides being a news reporter I do web design, posters,
signs, animations.. It's like being graphics, only better. I recommend
it -- the ASVAB's only a 76 I think

Yes. Air Force still has that job but it is redefined.
Now called Visual Information: AFSC is 3V0x1

But, it is in the General category of 70 other jobs you could get.

And, Air Force doesn't guarantee jobs.

Army does. Join the Army.
But, you won't be "just" doing graphic work in the Army. You will be
a soldier first and training for combat all the time.

But, listen up. You do NOT join the military for a JOB. If that is
how you see it, then, don't enlist and go to community college for
graphic arts and you will be really trained for that kind of work.

You join the military to be IN the military. The job you get is
secondary to your ability to SERVE. You join the military to SERVE.
The military can assign you to any job it wishes even if you have a
trained job already.

AF never assigns people to work out of their AFSC.
But, Army will assign people to work out of their MOS if they need you
to do that at some base/post.

Reevaluate why you want to join the military.

Best wishes,
